Gap was clear last year. Nobody could really stay on the field with LSU.

The SEC was utterly awful this year except for 1 team, BAMA, and it wasn’t really close. Lots of factors playing into that. I’m not even sure next year will be back to normal.
Oh going ahead and getting in your half asterisk take for next season. Bold move!

But I’ve heard this before. 2013 Alabama was cruising for a third straight title. Auburn after a 3-whatever season put together a team that could beat them.
No one saw 2019 LSU coming. It was Tua-led Bama dusting everyone.
"The gap isn't that wide y'all. If you benefit from some historic bull shite luck or your Neanderthal coach accidentally discovers fire, you too can beat Alabama."

UGA lost by 7 in the last 2 mins of the
SECCG.
But Bama did steamroll the West.

Yeah... they were gifted two of those championships. LSU and UGS would each have one more if it weren’t for committees and voters using eye ball tests.
Your team lost that on the field.

quote:It took an offsides call to ice the game closer than the score my arse you won by 5 and were about to punt after choking away a big half time lead the refs gifted you. 1 out of 10 chances is more along the lines of a fluke than anything. Only team that can say they beat Alabama arse since 2008 is Clemson no one else.
LSU spanked that arse last year, score was not as close as it should.... just takes one year of recruits/rebuild. They lose everyone on offense this year

13 power-5 teams. 11 SEC team schedule. Will NEVER happen again so no way to ever measure the next team's SOS and schedule in comparison.

BUT every coach in the country should know how to deal with the pandemic by now. If they can't coach their players to tune out the noise, stay the course, focus on the things they can control and do their job, then who's fault is it if programs have another season like this one?
Programs and their coaches/players had two choices this season, get to work and focus on the task at hand. OR just quit..
