This conference doesn’t deserve more than 2 teams in the CFP

Still the best conference but there’s a lot of mediocre football across the entire country.

The problem with that is who do you replace 2 SEC teams with? Every other conference is even worse. All the other highly ranked non SEC teams have schedules as shitty as they get and sure as hell don't pass the eye test. I would money on 3 or 4 SEC teams right now against Oregon

Oregon would boat race most of the top 4 teams in the SEC

3 teams minimum for the SEC. Outside of maybe Oregon (we'll see when they meet their match) there isn't any dominant program this year.

No other conference has cannibalized itself like the SEC, but that doesn't mean we don't have 3 playoff caliber teams. Hell, Bama will be sitting this one out yet if they somehow get into the playoffs I wouldn't be shocked if they win at least one game.

Everybody's bad besides OSU and Oregon. Texas and Georgia are a couple notches below. And then you've got teams like Bama and Ole Miss that can all play like the best team in the country on any given day but they are also flawed enough to lose to teams struggling to get to a bowl game. South Carolina are playing themselves into the Texas/Georgia tier. If they beat Clemson they might be the SECs best shot but I don't see Oregon losing to anybody.

That’s always been my perception of the SEC. Best talent pool in the country. Mediocre coaches, especially on the offensive side of the ball.

Well I think the BIG10 does for sure, Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State are no brainers to me. Indiana whatever you think if they go 11-1 they would be a 4th team

OSU struggling with a bad Michigan team.

The playoffs will bare out the Sec is still the best.

OSU is struggling with a legitimate rival, which happened last night in Athens in case you forgot. Likely to happen in several other games today.

Saban carried this conference.

Saban hid how mid the rest of the coaching really was. We saw teams putting up consistently solid records and just assumed they were good and Saban was otherworldly and keeping them down.

Turns out they’ve been mid all along and just hid in his shadow.

TP: can't build depth, cohesion
NIL: can't have discipline to develop cohesion and depth

BK is struggling because he lost the team and has always been a fraud and as such is bringing down the SEC
