Yes and this is the biggest problem with the 12 team playoff.
Getting in is a product of scheduling as much as performance.
Probably at least 10 teams who will be sitting home who would have made it with A&M schedule.

Agreed... but remember Texas just quit on the running game. I think it would have been much closer if we could put up 80+ run yards. Defense is more rested, better drives.

Could have also easily gone to the TE in the middle that time. Huge coverage hole in the middle of the field. Sark should make a note of that.

So many of us tried to warn the Aggies that they hadn’t really proven anything in the SEC yet. Amazing how clueless a fanbase that won 7 games against 4+ loss SEC teams could be about their team. This is an embarrassing performance even if they end up coming back
