I really want a SOR to decide CFP teams.

CFP proved last year and with this year's ranking it does not really factor in

SOS doesn’t matter anymore they made that clear with the Alabama ruling.

Alabama has the better resume clearly than Notre Dame but Notre Dame is playing better late in the season so eye test bitch.

Going strictly off SOS or SOR (you mentioned both) is impossible unless every team was given similar schedules against teams with similar schedules and win/loss results. So, it's impossible.

SoR doesn't put enough importance in SoS. It'll still value undefeated teams on weaker schedules too high.

Right now, the system rewards not losing. That means teams need to mitigate their losses as much as possible. If you’re an AD and you’re scheduling tough OOC opponents, you’re doing your school a disservice.

The SEC also needs to cancel the 9 game schedule. Just asking for more trouble.
