Why da fuk did Sankey try to make this a rivalry game?

It’s a little fabricated, but it could be great.

One thing I have learned being a Sooner fan the last 20 years is not to expect anything.

I’m not counting today as a win until the clock is at 0.

LSU is still talented and they can beat us.

Completely fabricated. Give us back the damn Hawgs for our final game of the year and OU can play Mizzou. This is not damn hard.

I think this is basically going to come down to which team has the fewest turnovers... and best special teams play.

And it could be either team because I don't expect either offense to be able to separate without some help.

I hear ya. But as an outsider I’d rather watch LSU-OU than either of those games.

What other possibilities are there for these two schools on the final game of the season?

LSU-Ark
OU-MO

At least they're neighboring states.

Remember earlier this month when Brent Venables essentially got asked whether he thought the Sooners were ranked too low by the CFP committee, and whether other teams with arguably inferior resumés should be ahead of Oklahoma?

Here was his answer. It’s relevant today.

Honestly more out for Oklahoma, but Moore is a huge loss for us.

Oklahoma isn’t blowing LSU out for the simple fact that they won’t score a bunch. They should definitely score more than LSU though

And as insiders, we do. Much respect to Oklahoma. We have no significant regular season history. We have a very nicely developed hatred with our Razorbaws to the north.
