Love it. Not a fan of Pat M, but he called it out this morning on Gameday. Jesus and USA!

Romans 10:14 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" Kjv

I agree and like seeing it. This world needs it more than ever.

Certainly much better than seeing the purple haired legion with their abortion and tranny rights signs.

Palestinian, tbh. Arabs are on the Peninsula.

Read the signs. It's some group urging people to shun church and "seek the living Jesus". To each his own I guess.

Except most of it is the cringe evangelical “do whatever you want, you’re saved!” Line of Christianity which Jesus would have absolutely not approved of

It says

Seek the living Jesus
Not any “church”

That is clear and no one should disagree with it. It means don’t just seek out a specific church before seeking Christ

My ex-father in law was into that shite. Used to hand out brochures and make everyone he came across kneel down and pray with him. Very awkward. Never went to church.

I’m not sure how one seeks Jesus while shunning the Church. Jesus gave us the Church and His people are those living stone that make up the Church. He taught that it was a community and His Apostles described the Christian life only within the context of the Church.

The Bible doesn’t teach Christianity outside the Church. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, but we are saved into community. Christians are not meant to be independent; it’s not good for us.

Correct. I can't remember the name of the group, but it's some televangelism thing where you donate money and they mail order you pamphlets to hand out and scripture verses to quote to everyone you come across. But you're excused from going to church as long as you do. I guarantee you they're handing those out to anyone in the crowd who will take them.

I don’t think that was the message the sign was trying to convey

Also, there were other signs. One person not with the others held one that was ESPN acronym

Every

Person
Needs

Jesus

There’s lots of people emboldened and sharing the good news
