O damn, meant to ask you about that. Good thing knee replacement recovery is quick. Had to only take care of my mom for a couple of weeks.

Mine is this Friday, the 5th. Wife is taking off one week, so I hope by week 2, I'm generally self sufficient.

My moms was doing pretty good after week 1, but you'll need help for some stuff. Good luck, baw. It's pretty easy tho. They'll have you doing steps right out of surgery.

That's what they told me, as soon as you wake up they get you moving.
I'm both looking forward to it and dreading it. Suspect the first 2 weeks to be rough, but wanted to do it now to hopefully be in decent shape by Christmas.

It sucks for the fist day or so. After that, it's just limited mobility. After a week, you can do most things. They'll give you a walker as well, so you wont have to walk on your own power. Nothing like me, when 5 years ago, 24 cm of my intestines went boom.

Ya. that sucked. They wanted me to walk around the morning afer surgery as well. frick that.

Just to remember how bad Mark Stoops is. And he's bad. I don't know how he got this bad - although I suspect he can't evaluate talent either on the field or the coaching staff.
The moral of this story ? Don't do what UK did. Or what IU is doing. Or what LSU wants to do. You absolutely can't handcuff yourself to any of these guys long term. Because circumstances change and so do they.
Spend more millions on players. Not coaches after the first Five Million for a guy that can just run a tight program.
