I was with the committee that OSU had been impressively dominant all year and I thought the fact that OSUs ranked wins at the end would push them over.

But after today there is 0 doubt that LSU should be #1. They just destroyed a team that the committee had at #4. Combine that with their wins over Auburn and Alabama, their wins are better all around that OSUs.

If the committee has OSU at #1, they are Big Ten Biased. I think thats a reason Alabama dropped so low, they wanted OSUs wins to look better than Alabamas.

I said it

Their win over Florida is more valuable than Auburn and Bama. How does everyone keep forgetting this lol.

LSU's defense stepped up today. I didn't think they would do that well against the run game. Very impressive flex.

@Texas
Florida
Auburn
@Bama
TexA&M
@UGA

That’s a strong resume. There’s no debate whatsoever who has a stronger resume between OhioSt and LSU. The only arguments in OSUs favor was “eye test” and “LSU’s defense,” both of which have been eliminated in recent weeks.

LSU deserves to be #1 and will be #1 tomorrow.

Hell of a season for Da Tigahs

People bought into the media hype about our D. Watching LSU really close you could tell is was youth and injuries that where the problems. The injuries basically fixed themselves during Arky. Aggies was the first time since the first half of Texas that the full d has been on the field. Now UGA has a bad O but that Tiger D was nasty tonight.

That’s because you are easily fooled by internet morons. Ole Miss has a qb who runs a 4.4 forty, and they didn’t have any success until LSU was up 31-7.

Did you not watch LSU’s defense hold Bama down in the first half? Take away the punt return and the trick play (early snap) and the LSU/Bama game would have been a blowout.

LSU has been pretty good against the run most of the season.

They have been good against the run most of the year. Outside of Plumlee, Harris is the only other guy that consistently ran the ball well against LSU.

That would be an underestimation.

I’m in the same boat. I was okay with OSU at #1, but I can’t see any argument for any team other than LSU as the top seed. I’m not a SEC first guy. I don’t care about conference pride. LSU is the best team with the best resume. It shouldn’t be hard.

LSU resume:
@ 7-5 Texas (non conference)
vs 10-2 Florida
@ 6-6 State
vs 9-3 Auburn
@ 10-2 Alabama
vs 7-5 Texas A&M
vs 11-2 Georgia

tOSU resume:
Did not have a P5 non conference win of note
@ 8-4 Indiana
vs 6-6 Michigan State
vs 10-3 Wisconsin
vs 10-2 Penn State
@ 9-3 Michigan
vs 10-3 Wisconsin

Seems the Tigers had a tougher path and should be #1

7-5 Texas & Texas A&M would beat Penn St and obliterate Indiana & Mich St.

UF, UGA, AUB, & BAMA would beat every team on that list.

The committee doesn't watch games. We've got no chance.

Because you were blinded by the narrative that Lsu sucked against the run. They don't, at all. They have given up some long runs to mobile QBs, when they were well ahead and lost focus...but they are very good third and short.

But Ohio played a game Cincinnati team at Cincinnati, wait I mean at home.

And a tough Wisconsin team twice.

And a Michigan team that hasn’t beaten a decent squad outside the mid west in over a decade

If the Committee puts Ohio State at #1, they just need to come out and say we feel like Ohio State has the better, more complete team. Because if they’re comparing the two teams based on resume, LSU is clearly #1.

If the committee is judging a team's worth of being "complete", OSU was complete for one half against the #8 team in the country. LSU was "complete" for two halves against the #4 team in the nation.

I hope the committee does the math.
