Too much money.

What will end up happening is two AQs from B1G and SEC before they do away with the CCG.

Now if the coaches wanted to trot out their scout teams and make a farce of it, there’s nothing preventing that.

It’s crazy how much the SECCG meant to this conference and virtually overnight it has been neutered

No kidding - shame how that’s happened. Went from being almost considered a mini playoff, and a game that had so many implications to now being a potential burden for some teams depending on position.

Makes you think - at some point in the future - will there even be a sec?

I don’t get this mentality. You play games to win. You win games in hopes to play for championships. The SECC should be/ is a goal for every team in the league. How many schools in the SEC have never won an SEC title? Screw that mentality…let’s go win the SEC and the whole damn thing. Go Dawgs

At least there's one other person on this planet who hasn't turned into a giant vag. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity this early Saturday morning. If you ever wanna meet up and become best friends let me know.

I applaud the mentality and agree as a fan, and agree as holding onto winning the SEC is a damn strong accomplishment - but the shift in college ball is quickly making it almost akin to winning a bowl game. Almost like we are seeing the death rattle of the sec,

It will end up as some nfl model where we have charter sec members being cut into diff divisions or something along those lines.

Sucks - and maybe I’m being cynical- but I see the oldest Deep South rivalry, the WLOCP, The 3rd sat in Oct - and others becoming things of the past - that happen every so often based on scheduling.

UGA has the chance to end the SECC if we play Bama. Beat them and they are out of the playoffs the wrath on Bama will bring it to an end.

The playoffs have made these games obsolete at best and detrimental at worst…

There is nothing to gain by playing in the game other than a SEC championship, which ain’t nothing.

I agree, it was getting close to being as important as winning a national championship. Shankys shite leadership has done the SEC no favors over the years. Getting away from divisions and going to a single table like the soccer figs has been terrible. Not showing any leadership by defining NIL to make the league more competitive has been his greatest failure, and then embarrassing teams like A&M by secretly inviting schools into the league is just about anti SEC as you can get.

If you compare where the SEC is at now vs where it was before he got here it’s kind of embarrassing… other leagues are slowing beating us with technology and innovations, we are not adjusting well.

& WHERE was this “anti SECCG opinion” in prior years?
