Buchanan may be a pro style, but he is somewhat of a dual threat. I am not too concerned about this class because Dak will be around for a while and i like Nick. Hard to tell which one I want the most this year. If Russell has a good year we will get a good one. If not, we will be scraping

He's got 4 SEC offers, so I doubt there are that many people evaluating him wrong.

Buchanan is the real deal offers from OM, State, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Oklahoma State and likely Tennessee next.
I'd love him to sign with State but he is an OM legacy and has Signa Nu/Chi written all over him

No I went to an MAIS school but I really have never watched him play but have heard from people that know him and that went to school with him that he's not all that good. Seriously though don't trust my opinion because I have never watched him play and am just basing this off people that know him and watched him play.

A friend of mine who has coached QBs on the college level and been a HS OC said after seeing Buchanan's highlights that he is legit. Said his mechanics are great and he has a great arm.
I don't get the hate on the kid. Who was the last QB from Mississippi to be offered by Florida????
ETA: the people you know that are saying that Buchanan isn't any good sound like people who are jealous of his success and offers or people butthurt from losing to Prep.

I think it would be a safer bet to trust all of the coaches from the teams who offered him over your friends and people you know who have watched him. But you can have your own opinion of him being over-rated, cool with me.

He might as well have just said, "hey guys, I'm a shitty poster. don't listen to me."
But Buchanan is legit. Just watch a few minutes of his video and you can tell.

Buchanan is legit no doubt, but I am more fond of spread style QBs. With that being said, I'd take Buchanan in a heartbeat.

I'd be fond of anything that will work. He would be a really nice addition to what will be a pretty good class for us, especially considering the circumstances. I'm pretty sure he will end up at OM, be a frat daddy, and be a decent QB...

Watch out for Bama if they offer. I see them as OM's top competition for Buchanan

As always, but I'm not really sweating it. I see him ending up at OM, but if he doesn't, oh well. I'm certainly not going to "lock" :rollseyes:him as an OM guy like some do, but we have a much better chance than not of getting him...

We will sign Buchanan, Nkemdiche, and Conner and Saban will be seen on signing day shedding a tear like the indian in those old pollution commercials
