UGA Fans... Korie Rogers?

He says it's a tie for Clemson and UGA on top, but everything I've been told says he's a UGA lock.
Is this the case? Just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time on someone we have zero shot at. He seems like a stud!

UGA feels good about him. Buford is generally a UGA friendly school. It's early though so I hesitate to call anyone a lock to any school at this point.

Jake Rowe at the UGA rivals site said that Rogers dads favorite team is UGA and that UGA is recruiting him the hardest. But at this point, it is impossible to know. Good prospect though, for sure.

Robert Nkemdiche to Alabama
Vonn Bell to Tennessee
Derrick Henry to UGA
Montravius Adams to Clemson
I'm sure there were more. Those stick out.

Yea maybe lock is a strong word, but I consider him a heavy UGA lean especially if he announces in the summer like he's claimed he will. Always a good sign for the instate team when a kid makes his choice early IMO.
We're gonna hafta blow him away at our Junior Day in March and probably get him on campus a couple of times in the summer or he'll be all-Dawg.

Seems on the small side for a LB in a 3-4. Of course, he still a JR and could obviously grow quite a bit in the next year.
The last part is right. With the S&C program at Buford I think it would be reasonable to assume he could put on at least 15 pounds and head to college at least 230. But to answer your question, yes UGA is recruiting him for LB.

Well I mean Henry was committed to us for a longgg time so it's reasonable for us to have considered him a lock

My point was that the term "lock" is used too loosely. No one is a lock until the LOI is in. I mean heck, Mike Blakely even sent UF a LOI and was enrolled at Auburn in August
