But his dogshit grades will make teams pass. Good luck keeping him eligible.

Grades are much more of a concern than his knee

Correct.
I'm sure tons of guys that are "no longer being recruited" get signed LOIs in the mail from the schools that are "no longer recruiting" him. This is straight from his own twitter showing his LOIs from Auburn and Georgia.
His grades are indeed a concern -- as is his injury -- but MSU is very much in a position to take the risk on what was the unanimous #1 overall JUCO prospect prior to these issues arising. We need Toby -- and we need him to be ready to play/produce in year 1. Not only was he elite prior to injury(and hopefully after) -- but we've also got a lot of volatility at the DT position -- where our 3 best returning players have repeatedly had trouble getting it together off the field.

Meh ineligible grades at UGA = he'll be accepted into the honors program at MSU

Bryan Matthews just said that he "really, really likes" Auburn's chances tomorrow. TIFWIW.

I'm not really sure how I feel about us taking him with the injury and grade issues. We're already going to be pretty deep at DT (albeit most of the depth there is unproven). Maybe he's just the type of athlete our staff feels like is worth the risk.

If he would be willing to come in and redshirt one year to get back to a full 100% then I think he would be a stud grab at the end. We will need depth next year when we lose two DTs and have 3 more that are seniors. If we could grab a guy who has a lot of potential that has a reason to redshirt and would be an upper classman depth, take him.

It sounds like all signs are pointing to the Plains.

Haha the ridiculousness you spew is actually really entertaining. You pick an outlier and address it as the norm.

Johnson announces that he is going to Georgia.

So now do the Auburn and Georgia fans ^^^^^ realize how stupid you look now that both schools, did in fact, want him to come there?

I would say MSU fans look more stupid for thinking they had a shot
