So what have you heard?
He's not doing anything until after his season from what I've heard. I'm assuming it will be a Mizzou, Arkansas, Nebraska, Iowa battle with Mizzou and Iowa in the lead currently.

Heard he might commit to Mizzou.His season ended the other day Sluh git beat in the playoffs.Thank you Cheshire

He's visiting Ark Dec 13-15th. Should know a lot more then.

"Heard" might be a stretch, but there's just been a lot of buzz about Wingo and Mizzou lately whereas Mizzou was completely out of that picture probably a month ago. It all culminated with rumors that he may commit to Mizzou over the weekend. That has come and gone so that gives some indication. Take it for whatever it's worth as they say.

Apparently tried to commit to Mizzou, but still wanted to take visits. Was told he couldn't commit unless he was 100%. He's not commited. We shall see.
Side note. Was told by some in the STL circle that he's the best CB prospect to come from there in 20 years. He's extremely fast.

They said the same thing about his brother. His brother, unfortunately for him, had his heart set on playing RB. Arky fans might be able to give more thoughts on him as a RB, but my impression the little I saw/followed of him was that his results were very mediocre at best. Shame considering everyone was saying when he came out of high school that he had NFL type talent if he decided to set the ego aside and play in the secondary instead of wanting the ball in his hands.

I mean he was fast and was an excellent receiver but he had no vision and ran timid. I could never figure him out

I have heard a few things, one markel (sp?) smith had his offered pulled, and also wingos offer has been pulled? anyone else hear anything along those lines?

I doubt Wingo's offer was pulled.
We have limited spots though, so he may be out if he doesn't jump on board soon.

That was the rumor with Markel. We already have 2 or 3 RB's in this class. Had not heard that about Wingo but then again I haven't heard either way. We do have 6 or 7 DB's as well so I wouldn't be shocked if true.

I think he could be a solid receiver if he tries and gets his route running down. He's what 6'3 230 running a 4.5, he'd be a matchup nightmare.

The recent chatter is that there are some new DB names that we are pursuing.
That would tell me, either:
1. We've moved on with Wingo
2. Or we're not waiting for him to decide.
3. Or we have room for 2 DBs
But not much more room. I think we could take as many as 5 more, but that would impact the 85 total count. Likely is we have two slots left.

We will take 31 or 32.
Expect Wingo to be official by the end of this week or early next week.
Also, Id expect Brian Wallace to commit when he visits for aTm game.
