It's about development and performance once he gets on campus. He has lost 30 lbs and will be in our weight program this summer as well.

i dont think we or many other SEC programs were still going after Nick after he got kicked off his team..

Yet your same staff went hard after that JUCO safety who got kicked off the team at Florida and arrested twice. Once for stealing a dead girl's credit card and another time for fighting in the McDonald's drive through.

That was the last staff and they didn't try to go after him after he was arrested twice. He had been arrested and kicked off the Florida team then went to JUCO and had no problems there so they tried to recruit him. Once he got in the fight in Starkville they dropped him.

The kid has serious potential, but he plays seriously high. I don't put a lot of stock in those one on ones at camps they give a huge advantage to the Dline. I know he made all those kids look stupid. It will take him some time to get SEC ready.

Our current D-Line coach only just pumped out a first round pick. I guess he doesn't know what we are doing because a kid we signed is TOO HIGH

Take this with a grain of salt but Yancy said that MSU does not think they will be able to get him in this fall but are trying to get him eligible by the the winter for next spring.

Someone posted that video that was in the OP on the spirit talking about how good Nick looked. And someone asked Yancy where he stood in qualifying so he asked around and answered. Why does gene care about Channing ward?

Gene has ZERO to do with football recruiting and doesn't even interview any football recruits. I think you are referring to Steve and I can't recall anything at all being said about ANY Ole Miss recruits. And FWIW I think that Channing may be the only one from last year's class people even know of (maybe Issac Gross) But we like what we are bringing in on our D-Line
We have a D-Line coach who played at Oklahoma and coached there as well, yall's D-Line coach only has a job coaching because of his last name plus he loves breaking into vans.
