Exactly I don't see how with its immigrants, crime, drugs, massive array of strip clubs, terrible racial history, etc...

It sounds to me like "The Ocean" is arguing for Miami over Athens because Miami happens to have one. That is the only reason I could see Miami being a more desirable destination than Athens. The difference in crime rate alone would have me running for Athens, were I from Miami proper.

Well I will say that academically speaking UM is a very fine institution, probally better than uga or uf. That being said is "the ocean" really a florida state fan and if so why is he so concerned about miami losing a recruit to us? He should be glad that he chose us instead of "the u".
