Well he could stay as Is and play immediately at LSU in our 4-3. We don't need him to lose or gain weight.

that's true. I was just saying that he will have success in either system. athletically, there doesn't seem to be much of a limit on what he could do

that's not necessarily true. he could put on 30 pounds EASILY and get up to 300 and be the perfect size for a 3-4 DE. and with his athleticism, he could be more than a run stuffer in that defense which is what NFL scouts covet.

Yeah, but the question isnt could he, it's why would he want to?

4-3 DE > 3-4 DE

What I think is hilarious is he starts naming all these things bama has over LSU, then at the end he groups ole miss in them, with bama, then says that's why he won't go to LSU cuz of the advantage bama and ole miss have over LSU. Lolol none of it is ole miss but its like he's claiming they are just bamas school to the west.

No one is giving him enough credit for his athletic ability and speed. I doubt he plays DE at Bama. He could be a monster Jack LB with his speed.

Marcell Dareus disagrees with your statement as well.

Deadrick, Dareus, and Cody all get playing time in the NFL.

It really doesn't matter with Saban's system and Nkemdiche. He can stay at the size he's at currently and play Jack or He can beef up wich he will anyway and play DE. With Upshaw and Dareus it appears Saban has recently sent both positions to the NFL with high draft picks.

And like one poster said. With Nkemdichee quickness and speed he could still play Jack at about 290lbs with no problem. Upshaw played the spot at 270lbs and he's no where near as quick as Nkemdiche.

Brandon Deaderick is a starting DE for the New England Patriots. Lorenzo Washington has bounced around.

So are you going to play with about 11 jack LBs on defense, I feel like every recruit is going to play "Jack LB"

So Saban has produced 1 first round Dlineman in 5 years at bama, with Jesse Williams projected to make it #2 in 6 years?

I have serious doubts Williams is drafted in the first round. I'd say 3rd round. He still hasn't established his role.

brah, he runs a 4.7 at 320 and benches 600.

On top of that, he's prolly got an undisclosed injury that will come out after the season.

I was given them the shadow of the doubt.

Apparently the head coach has set RN straight though. Kid's all bama. If he wasn't living with a bama alum and good freinds with Foster, we'd have a shot, IMO.

You can't take much from a tweet like that.

yea I know, if the coach is unbiased it could be good for LSU or any other darkhorse but who knows.

If Dontari Poe can go in the 1st Round with a non dominant career and combine stats, JW is pretty much a lock.

Better pedigree and has actually dominated in his collegiate career...

RN has not lived with his HC for over year now. This past year he has been staying with the family of the QB who just signed with MSU. His father also just moved closer so he can stay home with his father now.
