He is already elite, also both Ole Miss and Alabama have recent success with putting Dlineman in the NFL. LSU offers him nothing Alabama doesn't. Alabama is closer to not only his father but his brother so that is what nixes LSU.
ETA: that is all you LSU guys are touting is this "dline u" crap. Do you honestly think he will not go pro if he goes to Alabama? Hell he is pretty much a lock to go pro if he goes to Ole Miss. I AM NOT SAYING HE WILL PICK OLE MISS. However, it will come down to us and Bama. With Bama winning out.

I shouldn't have to say much else. It's something neither Bama or Ole Miss can come close to claiming. Even your beloved Powe would have been at LSU if not for his grades. Ole Miss has a staff that is an unknown in recruiting, development, and coaching.
Him naming LSU his leader really has a lot of you throwing temper tantrums.
I seriously doubt he commits to LSU, but if he skips A day at bama then it will get VERY interesting. It looks like it's Bama vs LSU right now. Ole Miss seems to be an after thought. Like I said. His brother made those comments. Not Robert.
I don't put much stock into brothers that are at a third tier SEC school or teams that offer friends to get to the player. It comes off as desperate. Bama and LSU have every single top rated DB in the nation knocking on their door. We don't need to offer a David Kamara to show our dominance. Yes I know Bama wanted his brother.
Ole Miss offers nothing outside of location and his brother. His father is an ER doctor and his mother is an Ambassador for Nigeria. I think a little travel won't bug them too much.

Which no one else offers. Alabama on the other hand can offer the same thing LSU offers PLUS location. You guys have no advantage over Alabama ANYWHERE.
Miles "hey Robert we send a lot of Dlineman to the league, yeah they were all already 5 stars too, but we coached em up you know"
Saban " Robert I don't give a frick where you play I will put you in the league"

Evidently we do, since he says we lead. For now at least.
What we don't have over Alabama, we certainly have over Ole Miss outside of what I listed.
Let's quote Robert Nkemdiche shall we?

LSU is my number 1
Even above Alabama
So where does Ole Miss fit in?

He has a brother that goes to school here. But as I have pointed out I do not think he will go to Ole Miss. My point is, Alabama and LSU offer the same chance at the NFL and Championships. But Alabama can offer distance to not only his father but his brother. And even his half-MSU-brother. The only reason we are even in the conversation at all is because of his brother. No other reason.

not as much as LSU.

If he thinks DL is his future, he's better off playing DE in the 4-3 than in a 3-4. LSU offers that.

So what benefit does he gain by going to LSU over Alabama? So far all I have gotten is that LSU can put him in the NFL. Are you saying he would not make it to the NFL at Alabama? Choose your answer wisely.

You should choose better arguments because you are getting hosed pretty bad in this one.

Brick Haley, Former and current top 15 picks across the board on the line, and playing in prime time more than any other school(Going off of last year).
He can only go wrong by picking Ole Miss. If he picks LSU or Alabama then he will be making a wise decision.

Did I say anything contrary to this?

UGA offered him as well, and RN is worth 2 to 3 scholarships for a team like Ole Miss.

LSU doesn't just send 5 stars to the league. The only 5-star prospects of the group of 10 (TEN!!!) LSU linemen drafted from 2006-2011 (vs. Bama's 4 vs. Ole Miss' 3) were Glenn Dorsey, Al Woods, and Claude Wroten (JUCO).
Development is a huge part of college football, and there is a reason why a high percentage of 5 star prospects flop and don't make it to the NFL. To say that RN will make it regardless of where he goes is naive. He should pick the school that gives him the optimum chance of developing himself into a high draft pick, and sorry pal but that is not Ole Miss. Your coaching staff is unproven and your team gets very little exposure relative to Bama and LSU. And since you asked for one thing that LSU offers versus Bama, LSU's 4-3 is a better fit for his talents.

First off, it's hilarious that you are on here basically just defending the gumps because you wish you were second choice for the guy.
What LSU offers is the 4-3 that's it. If he wants to play the 4-3 and likes LSU, he might go here.
But if you really think that being 4 hours instead of 5 hours from his brother is going to make a difference you're dilusional.

Im not sure why anyone would "want" to play for Ole Miss if they had other options.

I'm sure Bobby Massie is still wondering this.

when it comes to recruiting wars ole miss compared to lsu is like a water pistol to a glock. Bama makes the logical choice but he ain't going to ole piss over lsu.

that's not necessarily true. he could put on 30 pounds EASILY and get up to 300 and be the perfect size for a 3-4 DE. and with his athleticism, he could be more than a run stuffer in that defense which is what NFL scouts covet.
