Just reported by Rivals.

24/7 Crystal Ball currently lists Tennessee as their prediction by a longshot.

Would be a major upset and a major coup for Freeze. We don't necessarily have to take a QB in 2014 and are being majorly selective, but we would gladly take Doss.

He didnt end up throwing yesterday or working out. Given that, I wonder if Tennessee would be ready to take him.

Him not working out and throwing means they know everything they need to know. Usually means they use that time to build a stronger relationship and let him visit the campus more than do drills that are pointless if he's already been fully evaluated. That quote tells me that UT really wants him, but I of course could be wrong

I would like UT to take him - as long as he's OK with moving to another position if QB doesn't work out.

Hopefully we don't take a QB in this class, and OM grabs the commitment. That's just a wasted scholarship on a position with too much depth after Worley is shown to be a fraud. I'd much rather reload at the OL & DL positions.

Hopefully the black bears pick him up

I think that's why we are both after him. We both have very good QB depth, but the kid is athletic and big enough to play another position if he doesn't survive the depth chart

Is he open to that though? If not that could be why he goes from 1 day being ready to commit to UT then 3 days later being ready to commit to OM. Because I have some doubts that this kid will stay at QB his whole college career.. and may want to transfer out if he isn't given that opportunity.

Ready to commit TN? Did I miss something? Did he ever even name them a leader? Are y'all just going on "crystal ball projections"? If he named us both leaders then something changed but as far as I know he's never named UT a leader

I've read that he's definitely a take, but we want to move him to some place other than QB.
