We don't need our DL prospects to be disruptive. What we need is for them to create a stalemate at the line of scrimmage so our linebackers can come up and make plays. If they manage to get in the backfield and make a play....all the more better.
what you want him to be in college really has no bearing on what his athleticism shows in high school... a 5 star DL should be disruptive, not being in a stalemate against a couple high school offensive linemen.

And who's to say he won't be in college? I'm not the one who gave him 5-star status. Those were the people who actually do this for a living who did that. He could be lazy, he could be a bust, but the intangibles are obviously there, otherwise he wouldn't have been rated as high as he was by every recruiting service in the country.

Holy shite that reporter is so mad that kid left the State of TX!

Looks to me like Galloway has provided young Robinson with a plethora of bulletin board material.

So Bama fans are mad this guy has an opinion that isn't praising one of their players? Classic.
Maybe you morons should stick to 247 and Rivals where there is no Bama bias whatsoever.
Some of you clowns are funny.

Or how about virtually every recruiting service with the retarded exception of Scout?

It seems as though he is going to play OL for us so who cares what his dumb frick has to say.

Never heard of this bozo before now and I will trust Nick Saban's judgement over his any day of the week.
He doesn't matter around here which is where Mr Robinson will be attending school so let his butthole bleed with hurt,it matters NOT.

Umm... nearly every post for the first page and a half blasted the guy for his opinion, regardless of school affiliation.
You might want to go back and read the thread again. Slowly this time.

I should have guessed. Galloway.
If Robinson stayed with t.u. this article never sees the light of day.
If you think it sounds like butthurt, well he is
The Star Telegram is no UT rag. It bashes UT and Ol' Butter Teeth routinely. It sure as shite doesn't give a damn where the kid went. Unless, of course, he went to TCU... then it would've been different.
As I said in another thread, I'm from Fort Worth and the kid went to my high school.

ehhh The Mack Brown lovefest is dying pretty quickly. Front page of the Houston Chronicle (online edititon) had Mack Brown above a headline reading something about how does UT rebound from one of the worst classes ever.
Still a hack job to rip a hs kid like that.

I guess you're right. Saban should probably just process him before he has an opportunity to stink up his first team meeting.

Galloway has always been a longhorn homer. I am sure it hurt his feelings when the kid pissed in the longhorn cheerios.

So is he like Kirk Bohls?
My opinion on the matter is if he's lazy, he'll end up somewhere else and open up a slot for someone. If he gets his arse in gear, it'll have been worth the risk.
Either way, Texas wanted him and he had offers from people. I am sure Texas would have taken him had he wanted to stay, and I'm sure that if that had happened, this article wouldn't have been written.

This was a discussion on the A&M boards and the final thoughts were as follows
At Alabama, Robinson will either shape up and be an AA, or he will wash out
At Texas, Robinson would be soft either way
He made the best choice for his career - now, does he want to put in the effort is the question at hand

Texas would've taken anybody. They're losing recruits to TCU even. A&M's surge is being felt across the state, and TCU has quietly been asserting itself over the past 10 years.
Big XII is a mess and is going the way of the Big East. And that's all on the Tea Sips.
