I haven't heard much about him as a player, but I do know he transferred into Northridge within the last year from Green County. Coaches who were checking out Bo at school/team 7-on-7s wanted to know who the mammoth WR was out there. He's got a big basketball background and is cousins with Bo.

Ahh. That would be why. I think we're only going after Laye and Jakell Mitchell at TE. We already got Laye.

Do you guys think this is a tactic to help flip Bo? (not saying that the kid doesn;t deserve the offer)

No one is flipping Bo

And he's gonna be an athletic TE, gonna get up to see Northridge a few games and I'll report back for you

Tactic? No. Our TE's are laughable right now when it comes to pass catching. Think the coaches want a kid like this.

Guess they chose him over Torrence Brown, who've they've been checking in on over the past few weeks. He's a little bigger, but he's coming back from a knee injury.

Rule of thumb - If AU/UA doesn't make an instate player a priority, he's probably just meh.

Mississippi State offered this kid a few months ago, very good athlete who is also a very good basketball player with a couple of mid major offers.

Congrats on the pickup

In fairness he did say rule of thumb. Sometimes they get missed, or they just want to go out of state. Not sure where CL fits in because I haven't even heard his name come up.

Dumb. Why not add TO? Should we add all the states who missed shite high school players who hit it big in the NFL? Speaking of which, how did the Mississippi schools miss out on Jerry Rice?

Pat White, Phillip Rivers
shite high school QBs. One of which would have been moved to RB/WR if not for RR's spread option attack.

Ameer Abdullah
Second team Big 10 gets you mentioned on this list? Seriously?

Osi was short and fat and Ware was a relatively skinny WR in high school. Nobody thought they would become what they did.

We definitely really wanted Kwon, but he was a bama fan and wasn't high enough on their list, so he went to LSU instead of playing at Auburn.

I wish we'd have taken a chance on Pat White. Rivers wasn't very highly recruited that I can remember, and I'd have liked to have had Abdullah, but the last staff was looking for bigger RB's and took Jovon Robinson instead. As far as RB's go Robinson > Abdullah, but you gotta make your grades first.

The best thing to come out of AC is 280.
