Very possible - but I don't think he is better now nor do I think he will be the first RB taken in the draft.

I have tasted crow before though.

He doesn't make a ton of money but he lives in his parents basement so he has like basically no expenses. He's in his late 40's and never dates so he has basically no distractions (i.e., I think he knows what he's talking about).

LSU fans knew the kid was uber talented before stepping on a college campus. You think the coaches didn't know the kid was good?

I don't see what the big argument is about. Lacy isn't "great" now oe ever before nor will he be in the future. He's a really good RB but if he's what people call great these days then there are a lot of "great" players out there. Not one LA back in the last 20 years or so was great.

As for "great" being the 1st RB taken, when that back is likely to be a 2nd round guy then is he still considered great? Very real possibility that no RB is taken in the 1st round.

As for the Hill/Lacy debate, neither is as talented as Alfred Blue. Blue was on his way to a 12-1300 yard year last year if not for the injury. Blue is still running #1 even now off the injury with Hill 2nd.

As for the "mis-evaluation", not one LSU recruiting fan nor LSU staff member at that time ever said Lacy wasn't a stud. It was pretty well known and many(including myself) felt he was better than Ford then. The kid had off field issues and was an impossible grade risk.(not gonna get the whole how he qualified argument started. We'll just say that the way he was qualified is no longer even allowed under the rules). The kid was an obvious take for anyone without the risky grades. Bama took the risk and benefitted. Kudos to that staff.

There is no reason Hill should not be your number one back. I was very impressed with him as a big physical runner. Outside of JM as a running qb, no one else was able to run on this last years defense, granted not our best but still a very good defense.

if he makes it to ya'lls campus i would have to agree. He would definitely be a steal. I dont think LSU will let him go tho...He plays like Tyran Mathieu. his speed is a little suspect tho it seems like the receiver can get separation from him...but he seems to recover well. I'd like to see him run up against Malachi Dupre. then you would definitely know what you have.

Hill is the best back on the team,IMO.Of course Blue will be given his opportunity but,I fully expect Hill to be the featured back again.

In his 40s, living with his parents, following around high school boys across three states?

LSUs staff passed on Lacy because of LF.

I seriously hope he turns out well. Texas needs to reclaim the big 12

During Mack Brown's 15 year tenure, he's managed to win a grand total of one more Big 12 Title than Texas A&M.

1 MNC in 40 years does not make you an elite program.

'grats on the t-shirt sales, though.

Gurley averaged over 5 a carry in the SEC championship game. Just saying.

Probably just an oversight - from someone who was skeptical, I was impressed with Gurley after that game.

I like Lacy, but he is not a great RB. He is very talented and benefited from a great OL. He was not even the best RB on Alabama any year he was there.
