In a 42 to 0 homecoming rout over The Lakeside School, Williams showed once again why he has been named as one of the top 5 players in all of high school football.
The 6-foot-4, 200 pound future safety showed off his ball-hawking skills by returning an interception for a touchdown. In addition to his pick-six, Williams scored on a two point conversion, rushed for 51 yards, and completed two passes for 17 yards.
The injury-riddled 2011 season for Arnold High became even worse, as two offensive linemen suffered knee injuries in the first quarter. However, with Eddie Williams starring on both sides of the ball, the Arnold team will be competitive in every game it plays.

^^^ This is hilarious. Clearly you have no clue about Lakeside and their football teams they field. I'm from eufaula and attended Lakeside my freshman year to play baseball on scholarship. While there they asked me to play football for them also and I did. I was the tailback in 1995 playing at 5'10" 170 pounds. I had 1 teammate bigger that me. A O-lineman, my right guard, at 6'2" 255-265 pounds. My right tackle was 5'2" 135 pounds so you could imagine how my blocking was. We played Ironman football seeing as we only dressed 13 players. That is pretty much the the level of competition Lakeside is and has been since the early 90's in football. Now basketball and baseball is a different story. The Lakeside girls have won 15+ State Championships over the last 25 years and the Varsity Boys Baseball team has been pretty good themselves. But to believe you have a phenomenal player because of a performance against a 1A (99.999% white) private school is laughable! Thanks for the Bump to bring this to my attention!
