So why does a 4* commit to a non-bcs school?
Blanchard is a 3*, at least by what I follow, and because he was dumped so late, his offers at other schools obviously aren't there anymore. But he was offered legitimately by Ole Miss, MSU and Vandy a long time ago. Obviously they arent going to save a spot for a decent guy for 8 months time while he's committed to another school.

No, you never did.
Sure did, bigger schools =/= bigger programs.
Sorry, -1.

They are not "bigger schools" in recruiting right now, we are talking about recruiting.
They are bigger schools in football, thus, their recruiting is better than the schools you mentioned by their success on the field and better talent evaluation.
Sorry, -2.

so saying an offer from there is somehow worth way less than from MichSt or KSU in recruiting is pretty asinine.
Sorry, Kansas State was a top 10 team all season, an offer from them shits on any other offer between them. -3.
Game over.

Nope, you screwed up and lied, you lose.

We are talking about recruiting, where, guess what, only recruiting matters. What happened on the field has nothing to do with current recruiting classes. You lose, again.

Once again you dont seem to understand what happened on the field is in the past and what is happening now is called recruiting, which we are talking about, and KSU is getting their arse kicked by Ole Miss. Therefore an offer from KSU is not >>> and offer from Ole Miss. You lose, counted out.

Blanchard had 3 other SEC offers outside of Arky, also is rated higher
Why isn't he committed to one then? They obviously backed off as well... Critical thinking isn't your strong point is it?

didn't he commit to Texas State?
Posted on 1/30/13 at 6:19 pm to Latarian
That was Jamel James, Blanchard went to South Alabama

Gee, once again, you dont think it had anything to do with the fact he was committed to your school for almost 8 months, now does it?
DERRRRRRRR

Sure it is, KSU is a bigger program, I already pointed that out.
Poor guy, stop while you are only largely behind before it turns to embarrassingly behind.
You obviously have some gay tingle in your pants about Blanchard and are arse hurt either from his penis or Arkansas' dismissal of him but either way, get over it and move along.

Poor piggie, even in defeat cant admit when he lost. Sorry I showed you up...well, once again.

And it's getting gutstomped in recruiting by Ole Miss which is what we're talking about, come back when you know what you're talking about next time,

I'll believe Alex Collins is choosing Arkansas about 1/2 way through his sophmore year.

Are you still trying? Embarrassing yourself over and over and over.

Not on the football field, if only a program was measured by a recruiting ranking and not actual success on the field, you would almost have a case.

In case you haven't realized it yet, you're a moron.
If Blanchard was an highly regarded as he thinks he is, he'd have an offer from those schools he said told him they're full.
However, if they thought as much of him as he did himself, they'd make room. If you can get a 4* RB, you make room. Seems as if Coach B's eval wasn't that far off does it?

I think Jonathan Williams is going to make more of an impact than you seem to realize.
I'm well aware of how good JWill is, but I'm not comfortable having ONE good RB. 1.5 if you count Kody Walker who may or may not move to FB and is injury prone. 1.75 if you count the skinny Nate Holmes.
We need Collins in case JWill gets hurt. It's the SEC.

Sigh... Blanchard was dumped almost 3 months before NSD, that is PLENTY long enough to find a good school. Nobody wanted him. Petrino didn't want him, at least as a priority anyway. Blanchard committed to the 1st school that would take him, South Alabama. Ole Miss, Tenner, Miss St, LaTech, ULL, ULM, Western Kentucky all said no.
Dude ran for 800 yards this year, didn't exactly show much. Denzell Evans is a better, tougher and more durable back.

...from a better state, too.

Please remove Blanchard's cock from you mouth next time you talk and from your hands while typing. Our coaches don't think he's very good either athletically or intellectually. They know a lot more about football than you. Spare us having to hear the Blanchard propaganda campaign for a second time in two days please.

Dunno what the deal is with Blanchard, but I have to believe there's a reason he ended up at a smaller school.
Dunno much about Evans either, but Bielema thinks well of him.
Our overall football program took a body blow when Petrino hit the ditch. We have to play catch up this year.
Again. (Sigh)
Meantime, OM played catch up LAST year and did a good job of it. They are reaping some of that now.
But if they really wanted Blanchard, I have a hard time believing he wouldn't be committed to them right now. I just don't think that kid is a measuring stick to gauge anyone's recruiting.
