Marshall is an extremely under the radar recruit that has been offered track scholarships all over the country. He was not expected to make his grades this year and that allowed him to go under the radar. His highlights are unbelievable: LINK

I was hoping we would give him a chance even with Tenpenny and Collins because he can play CB too. I think he will turn out to be a faster Dennis Johnson. As someone who follows Arkansas high school football, there is not a better athlete in the whole state. He just has to make his grades.

Marshall is a RB first and foremost though, and I find it odd today Collins says he knows and will announce monday and then this guy suddenly gets an offer...

I agree he will end up at RB but he was told he is being recruited as an ATH and that he could end up at RB, WR or CB once he gets on campus.

I also don't think we will end up with Collins but he isn't the backup plan to Collins. That is Evans and they have been completely up front with Evans about it the whole time. He knows, and has told all of our recruiting guys, that his offer is 100% dependent on the decision of Collins. He will be getting a phone call from the coaching staff around 9:15-9:30 on Monday night one way or the other.

Wow, dumping Blanchard for Evans...didn't think it would go that bad.

They like him. What can I say. I would rather see us go after Lorenzo Woodley but that's just me. I don't get paid to do this for a living.

I still don't get your hang up on Blanchard but that's a completely different topic.

Seems like Evans would be an upgrade over Blanchard, at least according to bigger schools.

Blanchard has a shite offer list, Evans has offers from Kansas State, Michigan State, Arizona State.

Yeah I don't think we dumped Blanchard specifically for Evans.

We dumped Blanchard because they obviously didn't like something about him. However, we ran around in circles with Tbird yesterday about this so there is probably no need to do it again.

We already talked about Blanchard for 4 pages yesterday. No reason to rehash the same stuff again.

So Miss State, Ole Miss, Ark is better than Kansas State, Michigan State, Arizona State, Ark?

I don't think so.

Ole Miss - 14
Mississippi State - 24
Michigan State - 30
Vanderbilt - 33 (his other SEC off)
Arizona State - 34
Arkansas - 38
Kansas State - 47

Yes, Ole Miss and MSU are better than all listed in recruiting.

And are sitting WAY higher in recruiting right now than all the schools he listed, but they aren't on the same level recruiting according to him

Who said recruiting level? I said program.

Specifically "bigger schools". Scroll up.

If you think MSU or OM are bigger than Michigan State or Kansas State these last few years then you haven't been watching much College Football.

So why does a 4* commit to a non-bcs school?

We're talking about recruiting, try and keep up.

No, you never did.

They are not "bigger schools" in recruiting right now, we are talking about recruiting.

I KNOW Ole Miss is whipping their arse in recruiting right now, so saying an offer from there is somehow worth way less than from MichSt or KSU in recruiting is pretty asinine.
