He might want to end speculation to not have to talk about recruiting anymore. Maybe he doesn't care one way or the other. He just doesn't say the things I would expect someone who no longer wants to be recruited to say.
Like, have you seen Evans quotes this week? He's talked about how glad he is to have recruiting done with.
Honestly, Burch reminds me a little bit of Patrick Surtain in December 2016. Never says much and is assumed like 99% likelihood he ends up at LSU. Biggest difference is Burch actually publicly committed where Surtain never did.

I can't think of another high profile kid who was pursued this hard commit during the early period and then suddenly not sign in the early period. I never heard one person speculate that he wasn't signing in the early signing period. It just kind of started trickling out shortly after his announcement. It's possible something like this has happened, but I can't think of anyone.

Actually agree. If he's so locked in there's no reason to make this visit. This is the nail in the coffin for him going to USCe I believe. Let's see if he visits somewhere next weekend. If he doesnt it's over.

His DL coaches are in campus, Johnson and Orgeron. Maybe the next DC as well to explain the fit. It's pretty common actually. In fact UGA is experiencing some of the same currently with Monken. Those kids don't have a clue who he is
