Good point but the questions regarding the staff at USCe being there next year is a valid reason for having 2nd thoughts about the program.

Absolutely. I agree. but, think about what is going on at LSU, too. I mean, nobody is probably more secure that orgeron, but will his DLine coach still be at LSU next year? Alabama, and Georgia have found out the hard way, when you have big success (Yes, I realize ours isn't as big) you lose a lot of position coaches, OC, DC etc. LSU is seeing it this year. With the talent LSU has I suspect you will be pushing Alabama for the west and making the playoffs for the foreseeable future. That probably means LSU will bring in some good position coaches, but also means you will be losing some good ones, too. It's a double edged sword.

LSU has to be giddy about this past year, but there is a price to pay for making the playoffs, much less winning the whole thing.

All that said....MikeBoss is an informed source for South Carolina, and when he says he is worried it has to make LSU like their chances to flip him.

Lol.., you know good and well LSU is definitely paying for everything while he’s there including the flight. Don’t be ignorant

They may very well be, but if one school is doing then you can pretty much say that most if not all are doing it.

That wasn't supposed to be some kind of gotcha, was it?

FWIW, Orgeron works regularly with the DL. Last yr Meatball blew out both of his ACL's in a pickup BB game at the beginning of fall camp. CEO got Bill Johnson to take over. Not sure if he is going to keep him on but he has a pretty good NFL resume.

Haha! UGA fans are delusional! You can’t compare yourself to Bama and LSU! Last NC was 1980 bro and LSU has won 3 in the past 16 years!

If Burch goes to LSU its to win Championships . If he goes to SC its to stay home and play for home team.

Apparently reading is not your strong suit. You pick and choose what you want to see and leave out the most important part of my post. Here let me help you out with the significant part you left out:

Alabama, and Georgia have found out the hard way, when you have big success (Yes, I realize ours isn't as big) you lose a lot of position coaches, OC, DC etc.

Read the italicized part very, very slowly, and you will see I did not compare Georgia to Alabama. And, until this year, Georgia compared very favorably and looked better than LSU the last 5 years.

If that was the only thing he was interested in he would go to Clemson or Alabama.

I'm not saying he won't go to LSU. he might. but if you are banking on LSU's NC to bring him in look at other schools that have won more recently.

Orgeron is a really good recruiter, and certainly this past year should help, though. We'll see.

Yeah because this is the first time we’ve seen LSU play for and win National Championships recently.

I know what you mean, but no one has won more recently that LSU

As other LSU posters have said, I’ll believe this when I see it. Getting him and his family for a visit is big but we’ve seen the confidence on our end before. I’ll wait this one out.

Other than this year, when did georgia lose a bunch of coaches to something other than retirement/firing?

Yeah because Ga has won a championship in football recently. I hope he goes to SC if we don’t get him and he wrecks Florida and Georgia’s shite. Would be about time there was more then one decent team in the east.

Jim Chaney to OC at Tennessee and Mel Tucker to HC at Colorado. I think Tucker took an assistant or 2. Nobody wanted to leave with Fat Man.
