His DL coaches are in campus, Johnson and Orgeron.

The key to me is Orgeron. he is known to have been ab excellent DLine coach. Even if he steps out of the way of the DC he is keeping an eye on the coaching of thta area and knows when the kids are being taught correctly or not. Orgeron should be a big draw for any DLine prospect.

Burch is in br right now from what I understand. I believe LSU has a great chance at landing him honestly. If he wants to win a natty, he needs to say goodbye to South Carolina and come to the real death valley. Geaux tigers.

Makes more sense for him to go to BR instead of USCe.

Jordan gave his word to LSu that he would visit and he is honoring his word. Just like he will honor his commitment to the Gamecocks. Just watch his commitment video where he explains what keeping his word means. Does he have a better chance of a title at lsu I admit he does but he can still be a #1 draft pick coming to us as Clowney has shown.

So his family spent pretty substantial money to fly to BR bright and early just as a courtesy? Sounds about right. Maybe you guys hang on to him but y'all's boards aren't handling this "courtesy" visit very well.

Does " Steve" need to come back?
CNB on our board may be concerned but he doesn't really know our recruiting. The guys that have the most knowledge haven't said a peep.

I will admit his mom likes O but she also wants her child near her. One Google of crimes in BR would give her concern.

Yeah on page 736 in the recruiting handbook it says under “best practices” - “introduce your prize recruit to some total stranger at Defensive Coordinator two weeks before NSD. Also drop the name “Nebraska” on the kid and hand him an Encyclopedia Britannica to read about the storied Huskers program.”

Maybe in the Encyclopedia Britanica people can also read about Pelini's resumé prior to being HC at Nebraska. Are you sure he's a "total stranger" at LSU?

Maximum courtesy here is telling LSU that he's shut his recruitment down and that they shouldn't waste their resources. Clearly not the case. What's more is bringing his family, which somewhat moves us out of the "just enjoying the process" zone. Should be interesting to see how things progress.

I'm not ready to write him off but I'm not ready to put him firmly in the boat either. Next weekend will tell me what I need to know. As of now he is expected to OV SC if he no shows I'll know what I need to.

Whatever is going on is bizaro in any form and being held very close to the vest. Main story is that Jordan wants LSU but has to convince Mom - this has been the LSU fan story since ESD for the most part.
Another interesting version says Jordan is friends with Muschamps son and he wants USCe... meanwhile Mom wants him at LSU. Not sure how much of that I believe.

What is true is that he already OV'd LSU earlier in the season and he and his family are on an UNOFFICIAL visit on their own dime. This speaks more about the situation than anything to me.

I think what's happening here is much less complicated than people think...Winning a natty in spectacular fashion tends to clear the air somewhat quickly.

as long as the paragraph about him being LSU's DC for a NATIONAL TITLE run is in there all is good. subparagraph will also include top 5 "D" the whole time he was in BR.

"knows what the kids are being taught"

EdO spends time EVERY day at practice working with DL and edge rushers. Yeah so he does know a little something about what these guys are being taught.
