Corn Elder will be a Buckeye IF (and it's a big if) Ohio State doesn't decide to take another OL in this class. With a hard limit of 82 there just may not be room for him.

Why didn't he commit on or right after his visit? I was told by our MSU insiders that he wanted to but the OSU staff told him to wait and its likely due to numbers plus another WR they are waiting on an answer from.

I think we're basically hearing the same thing. We'll know in the next day or so. The latest word is that there are a couple of items to work out before he commits. The only other WR on the board that I know of is Gibson from Glenville and I believe the staff would rather have Smith as he is more polished and should be able to contribute right away. It will all play out soon.
