He's a local 4* from Baton Rouge. Committed to Purdue.

I'm hearing Florida might make a push since they missed out on Rashada. Malachai Singleton might be another target as well.

He or Eli are who the previous staff should have made priority. Chasing a Manning was never going to equate to time well spent. I think it's still a possibility but he really seems to like Purdue.

As to Collins the player, LSU seems to have him as the fallback in the event they miss out on their other top options like Moore. Not sure if we'll be able to pull him though. Both staffs have slow played him and he seems to really like Purdue.

That's going to end up being LSUs target at QB.
Orgeron thought he could get Manning.
Holstein transferred high schools because of Walker Howard, he was never coming. But he should have been the target.
The new staff thought the previous relationship with Dante Moore could work but didn't.
Then they kicked the tires in Rashada but we're never going to spend that kind of money.
Rickie Collins is going to be the target and has every physical tool in this world but he's also a guy that struggles in highschool at the QB position that worry's me but I'm no scout, kid may win a heisman for all I know

The guy that got him to go to Purdue is at ole miss now. We never even kicked the tires on him so I have no idea

Well, considering Collins committed last October, not sure how Kelly can be blamed for slow playing him since he wasn’t hired until early December. I’d hate for facts to get in the way of your constant LSU bashing though.

Nobody that is on staff now was on staff when Collins committed to Purdue.
Kelly did sign walker Howard though. Howard was the number one qb pretty late in the recruiting process before he was injured
