I've got a great idea, since Bama doesn't need him, and LSU can't afford a project, Ole Miss will fall on the grenade and take him off of your hands.
Seriously, he probably wouldnt start over Benito next year but no matter how overrated he is, if he was ever considered to maybe be a 5 star he can be our NT all day

Petitto is THE direct connection in Amite for Sanders the barber that knows these kids well. They go way back, in fact Petitto played with Sopsher's dad even in high school I believe.
Make no doubt Petitto is there for his value in recruiting connection to guys like Smith, Sopsher and (at one point) Lee. Did you think it was pure coincidence Smith flipped from UGA to Bama when you hired Pettito? Pettito's value is just that. Once that well runs dry, he wont be needed any more.

Right after NSD? Maybe not, but why do you think he's there other than to help snab a few highly rated kids? Why do you think Smith went there? Why do you think Sophser may go there? If he was such a valuable coaching resource he would be just that, not some BS ASSISTANT player personnel position for several years now.
You act like he's an accomplished DB coach or something, the dude is support staff and once his connection runs dry his value is greatly diminished.He got hired to land you Smith and Sopsher, there's no big time Amite (or area) players upcoming so why keep him around?
