state basketball championship this week.

Great all-around athlete. Should be a star for the Bulldogs some day.

Not sure why AU didn't sign him for BBall and let him play football.

He would still've counted against the football scholly limit

When he realized he was recruited to play football and could play basketball in his free time he wasn't interested.

Don't care about scholarship limit when you have a 6'6 215 pound kid who runs a 4.5. Those are the guys who start playing football junior year of college end up top 15 picks as we are seeing the in the combine. So imagine if he had four years?

Also, our basketball team is worse than our football team at the moment. So how can you not recruit a kid like him? He pans out in one sport in all liklihood AU is the better.

Maybe Barbee didn't think he was worth a scholly

He thinks the DII players on our team are worth a scholly. Don't see why he had a change in strategy now

He was really underrated in football out of high school it seems. His game tape is awesome

He was late to the game and relied on pure athleticism. DOesn't help that his love and commitment is to basketball.

Otherwise he would be the next Ezekial Ansah

All he did was run go routes in a triple option offense.

Not a fan, but good luck to him.

ETA: Maybe at TE.

This is semi off topic to this thread but is about a former MSU recruit and doesn't warrant its own thread.

Who was the MSU football signee a couple years ago that stopped some crazy knife weilding person on a school bus? That story was awesome and I remember wanting that kid to do well.

Eulls. Great kid but unfortunately he has been the invisible man on D the last couple years. He has the uncanny ability to be blocked out of every play by 1 guy. The polar opposite of disruptive.

That's it, thanks for the link. It was even worse/better than I remembered.

Hopefully he puts it together on the field, but I have a feeling he'll be successful at something someday.

meh. He's raw as hell. He has a lot of improving to do in football but the talent is there. Paul Jones says don't expect him to play basketball. Isn't he like a center type player in high school? If he doesn't have handles and a decent mid-range he can forget about playing basketball.
