Edit- there is a dude that posts on VN named close2poona. I've been following that closely. He has been adamant that Vols are up big with tOSU 2nd and louisville 3rd. I was skeptical at first but he has been right on the money with everything about Ford. He said SC wasn't even in top 3 when 247 and rivals were saying they led. A couple days later Ford said in an interview his top 3 was UT,tOSU and Louisville. C2P also said Poona would be at O&W game, when no one knew he would be there. Sure enough, Poona showed up.
He also said Poona will take visits in early June then will commit,

Yeah we are running out of spots. Either Mosley or Poona or potentially both will be casualties of that. I would prefer Poona over Mosley I think though.
We have Barnett, humphries, Poona, Mosley, Williams, williams, hendrix and a couple of others I'm forgetting competing for the last remaining 6 spots and that doesn't include the non-dlinemen like the berry bros, couple of elite linebackers, RBs and athletes.

We weren't leading for 2 instate DTs at the time either so more than likely Poona is on UT's back burner now. I hope we still land him, but Barnett, Mosely and Williams seem to be a higher priority for UT right now.

Wait a minute.....if UT has 6 remaining spots, and you want to get the Berry bros, a couple of elite LBs, RBs and ATHs, then you don't get no more DL unless you oversign.....

Berry bros, Mosley, Barnett, Hendrix, Humphreys.
That leaves two spots, as we will most likely sign 31 and Bryant will not be a part of the class imo.
Those two spots will go to an offensive tackle and the other spot will be left open for Malone, Garrett, Jackson, etc.

I expect some of the current commits to bail at some point (guessing like 4 or so). I don't see us intentionally turning away a four star DT. Maybe he just realized Tennessee sucks.

What is wrong with you? plenty of SEC teams in the past have sucked, and they still got great players when the right coach was hired.

You can still recruit...but a couple of players cooling on you isn't unexpected.
Tennessee sucks right now. Maybe Butch Jones is the guy who turns it around. But if I was a top prospect with no UT connections, I'd hitch my wagon elsewhere. Nobody wants to get creamed by their rivals every year. And I'm not saying that will happen under Butch, but it's happened for damn near the last decade.

Tell me how Ole miss got 5stars recruits after having some horrific seasons? can't we do the same? after all, we are a a better program historicly. Is there an answer? did they cheat?

How can you know what is in his mind? How can you be so sure of your conclusion? why him? it makes no sense.

I think we are still interested, but I haven't asked a Coach if he's a take. I do know that the analysts are all predicting him to go to USC today.
