Nobody else will even be good aside from Maybe south Carolina. Mullen will knock somebody off but will have a tough first year with personnel not fitting his scheme. Tennessee will be better than most think but not east champion good.
I have Mizzou as a serious dark horse to win east. This is gonna be a huge game when it rolls around.

3.The winner of the USC/Mizzou game. I give a slight edge to Mizzou right now because of QB and the fact they'll be coming off a bye week when facing USC this year.

Define functioning.
I don't get it either. Even glorious Nick Saban lost six games his first season at Alabama and finished next to last in the division. Simply being a scientologist named Merlins isn't going to be enough to perform the kind of of magic it would require to finish in the top two in the East.

I'm not basing it off nothing. Florida should be vastly improved from last year. They return almost all their starters, 17 starters, and 10 on offense. A QB with a year of experience and what should be better coaching for the Gators with Dan Mullen and company. Just my opinion.

They’re also implementing brand new offensive and defensive systems to go with a whole new HC and program culture. Seen this song and dance enough to know that it’ll be at least the second season before Mullen has things running at whatever his top speed ends up being

True, I mean I'm not picking them to be National Champions. 
Even with all that you mentioned, they should be improved at least a little from last year. I don't think its a stretch to say they finish 2nd in the SECeast.

You'd think Carolina beating Missouri and Drew Lock 2 straight years would make people think we were better than them, but I guess not
