They're desperate. I think they make it happen.

That's still an almost 50% paycut for him with 50x more work. I don't see it happening.

My reaction is that you could start engraving VOLS on the offseason championship trophy immediately.
It would be a bloodbath on this board.

When you're the wealthiest, most profitable AD in tSEC, money is not an object.
We are not LSU, digging between couch cushions, trying to scrape together whatever measly salary you're paying O.

Jon Gruden works 6 hours a week and makes $42M/yr.

My only thought is a successful college coach does not a successful NFL coach always make. And vise versa. Could backfire on them but I’m good with that.

$500,000 for every year he has been out of college football. Pretty brilliant in a UT kind of way.

When Forbes says that UT has the wealthiest athletic department, the magazine is referring to University of Texas. You moron.

But he's been seen in Knoxville and he has property there. I'm sure he would throw all of that money away and start working 12 hr days, traveling all over the country to convince arrogant HS players to go to UT. I mean, the guy hasn't been involved in CFB for 28 years. I'm sure he's dying to get back in. Amirite?

Not surprised Volfan's post went directly over your head
