It's really sad how many of your posts are the first reply in threads made by LSU fans or about LSU.

LSU has finalist/favorite to win the following awards:

Heisman (Burrow)
Thorpe (Delpit)
Biletnikoff (Chase)
Maxwell (Burrow)
O'Brien (Burrow)
Hornung (Edwards-Helaire)

Did I miss any?

With all due respect to Delpit as an athlete, I don't think he did anything this year to warrant inclusion on the list. He's not even the best DB on LSU; that's Stingley. Stevens is the one you could look at TFL as part of the argument, but not Delpit. Stevens leads all DBs in the SEC in TFL.

Delpit is 4th in passes defended... on LSU.

Delpit getting in over his teammate Stingley is a massive sign of pre-season hype over regular season production.

Honestly, looking at that list I cannot see a reason for any of them to be on there based on production. Reading the bios for each just demonstrates how sad that is.

Stingley deserves to be there. Not Delpit.

Three of the most deserving in the nation. Solid set of finalists.

We'll pick up the Thorpe, Nagurski, and Hornung next year just with Stingley.

Gotta work on those lineman awards next.

Chuba Hubbard and Jonathan Taylor are about 8 tiers above every other running back in the country.

You don't really see safeties having more passes defended than CBs.

Unless used in unusual ways, safeties shouldn't be leading the team in passes defended or tackles, assuming everyone else is doing their job.

He's battled through injuries all year and has done well. His only really bad game was Ole Miss.

He's still the #1 or #2 safety on most draft boards.

Okudah doesn't have a lot of numbers because the man he covers is rarely open and targeted. That's what elite DBs do. They lock down their man. He has been so good that teams are avoiding him.

Exactly. You never heard Tre White’s name at LSU unless he was returning a punt for a TD. Meant he was doing his job incredibly well.

The thing is, Delpit was the best/most dominant DB in the country last year but yet the CB from Georgia won the Thorpe.

Baker was incredible last season.

I don't know who wins it this year. I'd guess Okudah. He's really, really good.
