Prior to the CFP era, Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State wouldn't have even had a shot at the national championship.
I can't imagine how pissed I'd be if 1-loss SEC champ Georgia was left out of the national title.

I think BCS would've had UGA in over OU.
But your point still stands this is clearly the better solution. And who doesn't wanna see more big-time matchups?
