Auburn fans sticking around I get. This sucks for them but they’ve been accustomed to Bama’s success and UGA has been whooping them in the trail and field for a while now. Doesn’t honestly change much for them.
Florida fans here are either just good dudes or are in denial about what Napier is going to be able to realistically accomplish and pouring all their hope and optimism in that direction. Too, we aren’t their only anxiety as Cristobal starts throwing money around the 305. I think Napier is going to make them competitive again but I don’t think that fanbase in general realizes just how long that might take given what’s going on around them.
Tennessee fans… this absolutely fricking sucks for them. Their program is finally showing some signs of life again and if nothing else they could always rely on playing the 1980 card. They’ve now lost everything they ever held against us (recent title, series record, SEC title record, etc) and they rely heavily on the state of Georgia to fuel their program. That just got somehow even more difficult.
Clemson is in shambles. They are so ate up with jealousy about Kirby doing what it takes to win that they can’t even bring themselves to ridicule Dabo and apply pressure. They’re going to high and mighty themselves back into irrelevancy and it’s going to be appointment television.

I've said before that a lot of those "fans" were likely FSU "fans" from 2013-16 and then jumped on the UGA bandwagon in 2017 after the CFP run.

I used to love LSU fans...and the ones I meet at the actual games are always cool. The guys on this board are pathetic (mostly). Before "2019" they would post the Clemson v Bama score as an overused default like "1980". Nothing worse than seeing a once proud program dickriding Clemson because they couldn't beat Bama. The fluke season with the shrimp boat meth head stopped the Clemson dickriding thank goodness.

We finally got our nut and can take a big sigh of relief. I said it earlier this week on the rant, but now it feels like football can just be fun again.
I'll still want to beat our rivals and win championships every few years, but this win feels like massive chill pill for us.

It does and it makes heading into college baseball season a lot more relaxing, too. All in all, the economic impact and enthusiasm this spawns around the state for the athletic department as a whole should in theory raise all programs. I’ll be very disappointed if by Summer we aren’t seeing an extensive master plan for virtually all athletic facilities. Lord knows donor enthusiasm will never be higher

Considering that 90% of the guys on this board are probably Willie T alters, it's likely not an accurate representation of the LSU fanbase as a whole.

Fully agree, a rising tide raises all boats. Would love to see baseball get some much needed love and money, and basketball needs to spend some money launching Crean into the Sun.
