You guys know me and I NEVER project Miss State more than 8-4.

I am changing that based on what I hear in the passing game and the young receivers who are ball hawks along with a more veteran crew of WR’s. We are going to upset someone and our defense is still going to be solid. Perhaps a step back from last year but we return all our LB’s, Corners and word is our safeties are far more athletic.

It's that time of year when we are all #1. After a Barrell of koolaid was a vision. I see the following:
2019 is the year of upheaval. State will win the sec and be in the playoffs at the same time Dak is prepping the Cowboys for a Superbowl win. The rant will be under assault from the grind, as the big 6 mumble about a down year in the league. SI will print cover after cover on MSU, and ESPN will gush about the rebels success.

Rebels Will still be better at receiver than Mississippi state so that is a pretty weak dig. But it does show which school lives rent free in your head.

If the Eggbowl decides who goes to Atlanta out of the West, the Nat. Guard will be working the critically overloaded suicide hotlines in AL. LA. and TX. due to the monumental collapse of 4 particular teams.

It will not require first round talent to gash the Hogs on both sides of the line, did you not see them play?
It is pretty easy to upgrade skill positions but the big uglies come along more slowly and the Hogs are at least a few years from getting there without a massive infusion of experienced talent. It really surprised me that the previous staff did not make this more of a priority.

While I'm not bold enough to call for a win (we've been so bad for so long now), it really wouldn't be that surprising. State just does not play well in Arkansas (either venue). We've beaten y'all plenty of times with inferior teams (especially in Arkansas).
