You can not get in trouble for talking vague offers over a phone about players

that have no names. Unless there is more, which no one knows, or there is some sort of a paper trail, which no one knows either. Nothing will come of this.

FBI is investigating Dawkins for fraud. He’s trying to prove he wasn’t paying coaches. He probably has paper trails to try to prove his innocence.

They kinda do have names and they were kinda mentioned.

Actually it is comparable. If Monica did not actually have that dress with the "DNA sample," nothing would have ever come of it. He said she said no proof.

Are you referring to him saying the "smart thing?" It was capitalized in the transcript, but what proof is there that he was referring to Javonte Smart? Is there proof of what the offer was? Is there proof that the Smart family even knew there was an offer or if they knew what the offer entailed? Is there proof that they accepted the offer?

Yes, the FBI frequently subpoenas people over idle-talk and gossip.

Hope he doesn't get asked any of those questions under oath.

The FBI didn't subpoena him. The defense lawyer did.

That's the concern. Even if he pleads the fifth it's gonna look bad to the NCAA.

Let me speak up for the uninformed in the room.
THE FBI DID NOT SUBPOENA WILL WADE.

Yet, as I understand it .. Wade is subpoenaed for the April 22 federal corruption trial stemming from an FBI investigation into fraud in college basketball.
