The second-best team in the West and holding. He just doesn't need Jameis Winston back there with that LOS and running back talent. He was even playing to his defense this season. A very SEC thing to do.

He may very well be inadequate.

But LSU beat tamu seven times in a row with an inadequate head coach and the likes of Brandon Harris, Anthony Jennings, Danny Ettling and Jordan Jefferson at QB.

So there’s going to be a real trophy in this room this time next year?

2021 TAMU better hope they get Alabama early in the season. The later they play them the less likely they are to win. It is at college station so catching a team with a lot of turnover on offense and the defense have to play at 2:30 when it is hotter than hell is probably their best and only hope.

If Alabama plays TAMU in October or November then I don't like their chances because the offense will likely be solidified and the ability to play TOPball and let the defense suffer in heat won't be a factor.

I expect it will be Alabama again but since UA is replacing 8 offensive starters, the OC, RB coach, and line coach, we may lose 1 or 2 games. So it may be the year for UF, UGA, or A&M. I'm pretty sure those would be the 3 favorites if not Alabama.

I’m going with 2022. Think there will be a drop off next year due to the loss in the oline and inexperienced qb.

We all know how successful Jimbo has been with brand new QB’s.

Hint: not very good

I agree next year will be a drop off. Probably a 9-3 type season. How many teams replace 4 OL and a 4 year starter at QB and improve? The OL that Johnny had in 2012 was seasoned as hell with a bunch of seniors that gave him all day to throw.
