Idk of anyone predicting winning the east, but the SC fan concensus last summer was 9-3. So assuming they chalked up a loss to clemson they mostly predicted an otherwise 9-2 record and 6-2 in the SEC, which were both well off the mark.
Either way, odd topic to bring up at the moment.
