I think they know that. Everyone knows that something could happen from this, but will it? It doesnt explain why you are mad about it though.

You should honestly google Will Wades role and the whole investigation because you have no clue what you are talking about.

I have stated upteen times that Wade has broken no federal laws. No HC has broken any federal laws. The FEDS are not after the coaches or the schools. I can not be any more clear than that. The NCAA is the governing body of collegiate athletics. However, the NCAA will use what they can from what the FEDS have come up with in their investigations..........regarding NCAA rules.

The same goes for Zona, Duke, Louisville and every other school involved. What can the NCAA prove? How much info will they get from the FEDS that will aid the NCAA in their investigations? What will be allowed in court that may shed more light with damning evidence?

Unless you have a crystal ball, you have no way of knowing how any of this will play out.

the sad part of this entire statement is you have no idea why this is such a dumb post. You seem to like arguing things that aren't being argued or maybe you don't know what's being argued and what isn't (which has also been on display from you throughout this thread)

When I say plenty of facts have been disclosed as it pertains to LSU, that doesn't mean I am saying the case has reached a factual conclusion or that I can predict with exact certainty what the judge will or won't do (I'd be a lot richer of an attorney if I could). But when you say there is nothing factual about LSU out there except for the contents of the yahoo article, that is an objectively false statement. Period. That is not arguable at all so stop trying to. Maybe your real problem actually is that you lack basic reading comprehension or you're so ADD that you don't pay attention to what's you're reading and/or what's been posted. Whatever the case, I think it's time you stop trying.

Chances are great that nothing will come from the NCAA because it has been made clear that this case is controversial on many different levels.

Yes, there is a chance people could go to jail that are involved for what they did.

Yes, the NCAA is probably watching these schools.

Yes, the NCAA could act from what they hear.

HOWEVER, pretty sure its been clear that the feds are not going to turn anything over to the NCAA.

They already have. I provided the link earlier in this thread. What they turned over was from a previous trial. I was not aware of that. With the upcoming trial, what will come out that will further help the NCAA when they jump in with both feet?

should have been HC's, but that was not for NCAA violations. That was for the same thing Person was busted for.....which was trying to get the best players to leave ad profiting from it. That is kind of the opposite of trying to gain a competitive advantage.

He was not getting them to leave. He was bribing them to sign with a certain agent.

person plead guilty to bribery, the same thing Dawkins is on trial for. He was part of the same indictment as Dawkins

I guess that answers the question as to whether you opened the links that were provided

Man I went and found the documents and posted links. All you had to do was open them and read. You must just want to remain ignorant.

According to the complaint, Person received approximately $91,500 from a cooperating FBI witness over a 10-month period in exchange for Person's agreement to "use his official influence over student-athletes" at Auburn that Person believed would enter the NBA to retain the cooperating witness' "financial advisory and business management services" and to obtain suits from Michel.

By the way, do you happen to know why the feds seized Bruce Pearl's computers and cell phones?

I'm assuming because of Chuck Person but just curious what became of the story below.

quote:

Sources told ESPN that Pearl has refused to talk to attorneys conducting the university's investigation, and they've been yet unable to determine if Pearl was involved in NCAA violations or other wrongdoing because FBI agents seized his computers and cell phones as part of their investigation.

Auburn officials haven't given Pearl a deadline to cooperate, but sources told ESPN that a decision on his future will be made in the next week or two.

You are assuming correctly......and that is why Pearl could not talk to the AD or the Pres. until after the FEDS gave him the all clear......unlike Wade, which has been a comparison LSU fans have made many many times.

ETA I am sure the FEDS were looking into Pearl for possibly being involved.
