Nah, I’d have preferred to stay at 12 teams and have Mizzou and A&M still in the Big 12.
Mizzou vs Kansas and Nebraska were great rivalry games, and Texas vs A&M was probably the 2nd or 3rd best rivalry game in college football behind only Ohio State vs Michigan and maybe the Iron Bowl.
Plus, scheduling was perfect with 12 teams.

I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, but here’s an interesting fact I just learned from the Internet Anthony Perkins a.k.a. Norman Bates‘s wife died on 9/11 on one of the American Airlines flights.

About the horns ....
They never thought they’d be left behind by Texas A&M University. They were. And they’re very bent over it. In the minds of UTex, a better university and/or AD doesn’t exist outside of ATX. They’re ugly about it.
As a native Texan, it bone-deep stinks having a large, jackass-filled institution affiliated with The Lone Star State. It is what it is.
Alas, we don’t give a lick what you think of us and won’t be changin’ anytime soon.
