Yeah that was strange considering Tennessee lead the final 4 minutes of the game.

May have soaked him cause it's one of IUs best seasons since the early 90s and they wanted to celebrate. Still odd even if for that

No not early celebration. They not a football school and they went to a bowl game. They had not had a winning season in 10 years. They accomplished that this year with 8 regular season wins. They had not won a bowl game in 26 years and they stands to be longer now that Tenner Vols solved that problem as terrible as they are. So that's a guess something to be proud of for their school sort of. That school does not win much ever. So why not?? Good record, he coached his team til the last minute and had a shot at winning a bowl a game
