New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton allowed some of his offensive staff to come to LSU to help out with the offense. They studied their screen game, getting the ball to backs out of backfield, their empty package, their red zone package and their shot package. “Those are things we’re going to develop,” Orgeron said. “This is gonna be a different offense than you’ve been watching in a while.”
I suppose its commendable to admit you dont know what you're doing, and seek outside help.
Really ???

Best offense in the NFL son. Anyone worth their salt would want advise from them. You must not know much about career and skill progression

That, or either Cookie Monster doesn't have a clue what he's gonna run on offense this year.

After years of Miles refusing to try anything new, I'm ecstatic about this.

You realize coaching staffs in both college and pro consult with one another? At this very minute there's probably an NFL staff reaching out to a college coach for spread/RPO concepts.

The Saints staff was probably installing the 65% of the offense that 0 didn’t understand.

Yeah, LSU has consistently been pretty good from an alcohol consumption perspective regardless of the product on the field, but there aren't many beer and liquor trucks going out half empty anywhere in the SEC.

You mean people in the same profession sometimes consult with one another to discuss ideas regarding their common profession??

I'm struggling to find why you think it's weird for a college football program to consult with NFL coaches. You realize guys like Saban do the same thing, right? For all of the things to criticize O for, and there are plenty, this is not one of them.
