Not gonna lie, kinda disappointing to learn only 8 people on here know football.

Does anyone here think Jimbo’s stupid or doesn’t know what he’s doing?
I think most would agree he’s an above average coach especially at the qb position.
There’s a reason Mond is his starter. And wait til you see the young qb’s behind Mond.

Missing what point? Manziel was horribly underrated coming out of high school because of his height but was regarded (until Kyler Murray) as the greatest offensive player in Texas High School Football History.
Manziel put up these numbers his senior year. (12 games)
Passing: 225-343-5 for 3559 yards and 44 TD
Rushing: 171 carries for 1,695 yards and 30 TD
Over his entire High School Career (SA Reagan and IMG), Mond put up the following numbers
Passing: 375-653-11 for 5,539 yards and 65 TD
Rushing: 422 carries for 2,797 yards and 38 TD
His numbers got WORSE his senior year and he was a reach at best.

Jordan Jefferson was a fair to mediocre QB, with a spectacular team, he almost won it all with he and Lee platooning. Mond isn't as good as Jefferson.
Brennan is the choice sight unseen, as is any other unproven QB. We have two years of Mond. He is just a mediocre QB

Monds’ TD:INT ratio in 2019 was about 2:1. No thanks. I’m not taking a 33% chance of turnover every time he has the ball. Guy has some arm talent but is completely unreliable.

I mean, to Lsu fans, Myles isn't a complete unknown. We watched him play some as a freshman or sophomore,whatever year he came in against Troy,then last season he had a good bit of reps and actually outplayed Joe in the first spring game after the offense was changed.
So he's done enough to ,at least, show what kind of arm he has, how quick of a release he has and shown his above average accuracy.
That could change with the pressure of being the guy starting in the swamp or somewhere.

I think mond is better then we would like to admit.
Myles Brennan has the tools to be a stud, y'all just trust me on this, Myles will be a damn good qb. I'm absolutely confident in that.
Just watch that video I posted. The release is lightning quick, arm is unreal, and my God that ball spins out of his hand.
I just don't know if he's going to be able to handle being a starter till he does it.

Said it before will say it again . From reliable source who attends every LSU practice has told me many times, when Myles practiced with the 1s he was more accurate and stronger arm than Burrow at MOST practices. Now can he handle live fire vs other elite defenses , we shall see .

Mond reminds me of the Jordan Jefferson days. LSU fans and even the media would hang on to a glimmer of hope that he’d be a big time QB, it was frustrating to go through. Just like Mond, JJ would have a good game once in a while and we’d lie to ourselves and hope a little longer.....give it up, Mond is average at best
