It's not my money.

If he will listen I would be in favor of offering him more.

In the Vols' case, yes.

Gundy at TN would be dangerous.

Just put Gundy in the title

Does this coach have several conference championships and a natty?

He has a sweet deal now with a rolling contract basically always keeping him at 5 years.

He will be jobless in 4 as BIG12 style coaching doesn't go around here.

You could get Les for cheaper than Jimbo, and has multiple SEC titles, a natty, and no losing seasons...

Always fun to see flawed logic destroyed

I would be very curious to see what Gundy could do with elite athletes. Hes in a horrible position recruiting in fricking Oklahoma and not being OU.

I think Gundy at Texas A&M or Tennessee is scary. More so TA&M because they have some very deep pockets. They have a 10 billion dollar endowment fund. Compare that to LSU which is right under 800 million

You can't use endowment money on athletics.

Endowment money is also money that is invested and takes time to become liquid.

It’s like these people have never heard of TAF.

They don’t have many options at this point. They have to overpay somebody

Some A&M boosters are counting on 100 dollar a barrel oil prices next year so they think that if Fisher fails they can supplement the money.

LSU TAF does not touch the money TA&M athletic funds. They profited nearly 300 million last year. Nearly tripled LSU. I love LSU but money talks and they have a lot to throw around

Yeah but there's overpaying(what we are about to do) and just being stupid.
