Well considering that since 2000, Texas is 6-5 vs the SEC and Oklahoma is 9-5 for a combined 15-10, probably not.

And lets be honest, the majority of their wins game against the lower tier SEC teams.

UTex would bounce to the PAC-12 long before it considered an ACC move.
OU will tag along to wherever their overlord lands.

tejas and oklahoma can kick rocks. tejas will just destroy your conference like they did the last 2 they were in, and okie will just sit back and watch like a wallflower.

texass is all about texass. They'd screw-up a steel ball.

ACC is not going to take oU and their little brother because it's a package deal.

Texas and OU are NOT going to the ACC. That'll never happen!

I'm telling you. Shear stupidity from top to bottom. Texass wouldn't mind traveling to the coast for a bunch of games. But that coast is on the other side of the U.S.

Good lawd OP is a special kind of dumbass.

If Texas and OU left the Big 12 would dissolve or merge with another Group of 5. They are already the weakest conference of the Power 5 (they have done a little better in football than the Pac lately but they have nothing close to them on any other level). Lose Texas and OU though and the largest stadium in the league is Iowa State at 61k.

For OU that means they would screw OSU which they can't do politically. OU always acts like they can leave OSU but they never have and never will, especially if the Big 12 is still a viable option.

For Texas that would mean they would screw Tech, Baylor, and TCU which they can't do politically (especially because A&M sure AF isn't going to help).

The biggest mistake Texas made (specifically DeLoss Dodds) when A&M left for the SEC is Dodds bragged about how as long as Texas was in the Big 12 it would be fine. That made it so that they had no leverage to keep A&M with regards to Tech and Baylor and it also meant they were joined at the hip with them forever. Tech, Baylor, and TCU are fine being Texas' little bitch so long as they get nice checks from the Big 12 TV deal.

So Texas and OU get to have their new version of the Big 8 except now it is the "Big 2 and Little 10". That is what they wanted and they are locked in now.

All that would do is take Clempson down a few notches.

Miami and FSU joining the ACC took both of them down a few notches.

One of them might take LSUs spot in the SEC after LSU gets shut down
