Would have preferred not to face a Heisman caliber QB in the first round

But hey, do your thing committee. Notre Dame is the clear #4 team here. Congrats on your bye Clemson.

It’s ok. A&M fans are saying he isn’t that good.

And that's completely valid. However the only teams to beat Alabama in the past 6 or so years have had legendary QB performances. The rest of the team makeup didn't matter.
Ole Miss had horrific defenses and we lost twice to them. Ohio State and Cardale Jones, Oklahoma and Trevor Knight. These are what Alabama CAN lose to. Doesn't mean they WILL lose to them, but this is what can happen.
There was a zero percent chance Alabama would lose to Notre Dame. I'd give Oklahoma at least a 25% chance of pulling the upset.
Should be a fun arse game.

Turnover played a big role in those games.
OU in the Sugar Bowl- 5 turnovers
Ohio St in the Sugar Bowl- 3 turnovers
Ole Miss in 14- 3 turnovers
Ole Miss in 15- 5 turnovers

Clemson is partying and laughing their arse off. We screwed up having one of the most dominant seasons ever. They gave the #2 team the easier road

If we can beat them with baker y’all can beat them with Murray.

You have to win both games to be the champion so it really doesn’t matter!

I dont trust Locksley to call the right kind of game vs Oklahoma.
He wants to throw the ball from the fricking two yard line instead of simply running the ball in. Locks is the kind of OC that could keep Okla in the game long enough for it to get scary.
