I guess it wouldn’t totally erase the sting of the colossal waste of talent over the last decade, but it would go a long way.

It wouldn't hurt but we got to do it first and that's not going to be an easy task

There is an obvious answer to this question and that answer is yes.

Win or lose I think this much is a given. A team with the Hesiman winner couldn't make it to the final game. I team with as much defensive talent as Clemson this year couldn't make the National Title game. Two teams reach the pinnacle of college football. Win or lose - This year put us on the map. The strong recruiting classes last year and this year reflect what we are seeing on the field. Times are changing.

Even though some of the great players came from Richt - A lot of the two deep is Smarts players and it's time to shed Richt completely from the program. We coming baby

More importantly it would mark the beginning of a slow steady decline of Alabama.

Fast enough for Saban to retire and hire Les just in time to win one more with Saban’s recruits.

Georgia has always had talent. What it hasn't had until now is someone that actually knew how to manage a roster, including a quality Walk-On/Scout team program, 2nd and 3rd string of quality depth, and a starting group that isn't plagued with seniority for seniority's sake. It hasn't had someone that knew how to put pressure on the traditionally conservative administration to make the necessary commitments to facility improvements and support staff to match the Bamas and Ohio States.

Richt couldn't change the culture at UGA. Kirby can.

Richt elevated it from where it was when he took over. Smart taking it over the top, regardless of the outcome of this nc.

Kirby is just getting started.

It would. Since 1998 5 of the Big 6 have won NC titles. Only UGA hasn't. If UGA wins then all 6 will have at least one Natty in the last 20 years. Damn, what a conference.
